go to www.autometer.com/hp, go to the instructions and wiring section,they have a full set of instructions on there, that should help you out

Call Autometer and talk to their tech support. They can tell you the exact wire and which pin number it is at the ECU to hook the purple wire to. Just make certain to solder the connection.
