Message: Keystone Restyling bought all the shaker hood
molds from Pro-Glass. I think John Mercedes or
Randy Pile still sell them.

Message: Anthony... you can get a GTS2 hood from
Jonas at EliteCustoms.com. You can look
right in the NACA airduct and see the filter.
The good thing about the shaker are it's
looks. The bad thing is that it weighs 60lbs.
and restricts airflow. If you don't believe me go
to KRC dyno page. A shaker truck dyno'd
10HP more with the shaker hat off.

Message: 10hp loss on a 400hp stroker motor that pulls alot more air than a mild mod 360 You also cant get ram air if the truck is stationary.

Message: What Ram Air, have you seen a Shaker Hood
air hat? The air has to go into the hat, hit the
back of the hat and then make a 180 degree
turn to get to the filter. Everytime you bend the
flow you loose pressure. If you look at a GTS2
hood you can see the filter through the NACA
duct. I know, I've had them both.
