Surely, Chevy and Fords have their bad sides. Being I've been raised up on Dodges, I dont have much experience with the other two brands. Enlighten me on some of Chevy and Ford's bad sides for when I am attack by another die hard Chevy/Ford fan boy.

Chevy's having trouble with differentials - my boss has had the rear rebuilt twice in 57000 in his Tahoe. The earlier 4 speed auto trannies were junk, often dropping 2nd gear, don't know if they ever fixed that. Their pushrod V-8s are the most likely to wipe a performance cam because the lifters are so skinny. Ford has terrible quality control. When I worked the emergency service patrol on the Mass Pike I had to call for more tows for Fords than anything else. Needed a hook for 3 F-150s in one day. And both brands have had reputations for exploding gas tanks.

I found that if you go in and be nice untill they try and bend you over, then start getting very loud and be firm without cursing and give them the idea that you are not going anywhere without the complaint being resolved they will turn into pussies and do something about it everytime! They don't want a scene in there service shop especially when it is next to the showroom try it ! It does work. You just can't turn into the pussy first. BE LOUD !!

fords have crapy electrical systems, and chevy have a tendency to blow motors and tranys if ya dont take them apart and keep up with there maintance ritualy, dodges have crapy emitions systems, ive changed 3 cats, and both O2 sensors on my 97 3.9, and sofar one o2 on my 01 4.7, and the cat is rattaling and my check engin light is on for another o2 sensor, not to mention i have the low rough idel problem. but still the same id rather push my dodge than drive a chevy or ford
i have friends with both and we tear down the chevy K-5 blazer weekley on its second motor and rebuild trany and transfer case third front axel second rear gears, and the ford has cault fire twice electrical of corse and its also on its second motor
01 QC 4.7, flowmaster, k&n air intake, autolite plugs more mods to come

Where do you guys get this stuff
My 88 chevy blazer had 140 000 miles when I got rid of it and that was when I was 18 got it at 16 and did no maintenance on it. i jsut added oil. and it ran great
My last GMC truck had 160 000 miles when i sold it. the tranny was replaced at that time. My wifes son has it now with over 300 000 miles on it and its still on the original motor.
My 88 chevy crew cab was a pos. 2 motors and a tranny in one year was too much for me.
my dakota broke its front axle at about 32 000 miles. fixed under recall. my rear axle broke at 42 000 miles ( backing plate broke) I paid to have it fixed. the fuel guage on it is going to empty every once in a while even if the tank is full.
My wifes GMC Jimmy has given us no problems. i only do the normal maintenance. i have replaced the shocks and a heater core and a alternator in it but its a 95
Theire jsut cars. some are bad soem are great.
My friends GMC truck is brand new and its been in the shop 3x in the month he had it. My other buddys dodge is new also and has had a complete electrical meltdown

my grandmother is 56 years old and has heart problems and kidney problems. She needs a kidney transplant and it is going to cost over a $100,000. We need donations even 1 doller would help. Please send trough mail to p.o box 44 Exeter Maine, to joshua porter. Then I will put this money into the safe at my grandmother hospital to pay off the transplant. She need the tranplant before 8/0/03. at about that time her kindneys will shut down. All and any donations will be thanked through a post card sent back to you.

My 4 year old truck needs a transplant too. It's needs a bigger engine and Nitrous. It also has to have a supercharger and better tranny. If anyone can help please contribute to my cause. Just call 1-800-please.

I mailed you one of my kidneys. It's well used, having processed several thousand gallons of beer in my lifetime, but it still functions. I packed it in a cooler with a freezer pack so keep your eyes peeled.

I have had five fords in the last ten years and have had less problems with those then my 6 month old dak 3.9. Makes me sick 0% interest not so good now.

I had a Ford before I got my Dakota. The Ford was nothing but trouble, the Dakota has been great.
