Subject: Future Mods???

I have a question some of you might be able to answer, I had posted in the Slammed Forum but got no replies there. I have a 2001 Quad Cab 2X4 with the 360 CI V8, I have added an ARE "Z" Series Cap on the back (not sure of the wieght). I plan on going with 17" "R/T" size tires and wheels. The truck already has ~50K miles on it. My questions are: Will the Hotchkis TVS (Total Vehicle System) 2/4 drop be level and not bottom (I have seen posts where the back bottoms in cases where caps/covers have been added). I also would like to know if the stock shocks will be acceptable (even if temporary) in this configuration (I have seen where the stock "R/T" shocks are just OK with the drop). What will the trailering capacity be after such mods? Is there any other compatable mods (such as bags) that will increase towing capacity after the drop? If the trailering capacity is reduced, would it be just the tongue wieght? I do not see how the trailer pulling wieght would be compromised. And lastly, what are the current best buys for the TVS, WITH and WITHOUT the shocks in the deal. I have seen a price of $750 in the group buy forum, but without shocks. Price seems OK (although still expensive) at $750, but if I need to get dirty anyway, I might as well look into doing the shocks at the same time (taking my milage into concern).

I live in a dream world. I like the dropped look (not to the floor, just 2/4 is good), I would like a great ride (Handling and comfortable, a little stiff is OK), and retain my Cap and towing capacity, And if its not too much to ask, improved gas milage too. All of this at the lowest price, and most hassle free installation. Any help?
