Subject: Electrical Problem....turn signals....

Ok I recently took my 88 Dak 4x4 off road and since then wen i use my turn signals the front works fine but the back Both blink as if they were hazards, then wen i use my brakes the brake lites lite up but then they get dim and eventually faint....what kind of problem am i dealing with?

I just worked through a similar issue.
Mine was different in the fact that both front and back would light up as hazards for a left turn signal and only part of the time. finally the right brake light stopped working all together.
It turned out to be a bad flasher relay.
take a look at your tail light wireing, tow package ground that kind of thing.
bypass every perifial that may be in line.
the parts are cheep for the flashers and if they are not the problem autozone or schuks may even let you return them.
