Hello everyone. Today I took possession of a factory ordered 2003 Dakota/SLT+/4.7/Auto. I was excited, to say the least. I have spent the last couple of months reading everything I could about the Dak. Anyway, I initially was to purchase the car through Cardirect.com but they totally screwed up the deal. In 1999 I bought a car through carsdirect and while everything wasn't perfect, I felt it was a good enough experience that I would use them again almost 4 years later. This time, they totally dropped the ball. When I got to the dealer to pick up the truck is when the fun began... To make a long story short, the dealer wanted my business and made the deal right. I had no choice but to cease my relationship with carsdirect.com because of mistakes they made. If it wasn't for the good people at Marietta (Georgia) Dodge, I wouldn't have a truck in my driveway tonight. Cardirect.com could not sell me the truck for the price they quoted me.
I have received a lot of great information from the people here and wanted to share a little of my recent experience with you. In summary, I would tread softly where CarsDirect.com is concerned and I have nothing but praise for Marietta Dodge. Their Fleet department rules!!!
