No, Daks are "full frame".
Yes you can make a "sub frame" to hold the Daks front components though.

A jegs sub and MustangII rack would be cheaper and easier.

A lot of people have used 1970's camaro or nova sub-frames. Even cheeper they are in junkyards everywhere but they are not as light as what a jegs would be.

Its a good idea, but I have always used Pinto/Bobcat/Mustang II front ends in my rod build-ups.

Lots of people do, because its so EASY.
