Message: I never cared for it either, but I think they really should make the T-Rex, that truck was pretty cool.

Message: Maybe now they can put their engineers to work on improving the Dakotas.
The demographic they were trying to entice with those M80s are likely Dakota drivers - sounds like alot of 18-24 year olds already have Daks

Message: I kinda liked the M80. It looked fresh and I think Dodges have always looked kind of...old mannish.
But I guess it just goes to show that all the decisions affecting Dodge are being made in Stuttgart, Germany by Mercedes executives and not by Dodge people who know the American market place.

Message: Well, maybe it was too much of a novelty, like the Prowler, PT Cruiser, Hummer, etc.
I was reading on another forum how these novelty cars sales are tapering off after a few years - when it's not the latest fad.
Try to find Dakotas for sale in the classifieds. People don't dump these trucks off after 2 years.
I bet that's why we don't have concrete info on the '04 or '05 models
