Subject: white face gauge install problem... IP: Logged
Message: I installed some white face gauges and now my oil temp gauge doesn't work.
Does anyone have any ideas on why this is?

Message: Do you mean the oil pressure gauge, or the water temp gauge? Either way did you take note where the needle was before you removed it? If not, let your truck warm up for awhile and try reinstalling the needle to where it normally would be, but this time push the neddle in a little more. I had the same problem, and when I called nu image that's what they told me to do and it worked.

Message: Actually I had the same problem and it was in too far and hanging up on the face plate itself. I just pulled it out some and it moved fine afer that.

Message: Yeah,it's the water temp gauge. I'm an idiot and don't proof read.
I'll have to play with it later.
Nazzdak...You only need like a phillips head screw driver, a pair of pliers, and wire cutters/knife really (well, that's all I needed for my 99 auto anyway). It took me about 2 hours total, and that's with wiring it all and everything also.
