Subject: Seat Bolts IP: Logged
Message: I was in the process of taking out the front seats in my '99 Dak when I ran into some problems. Two front bolts and 1 rear bolt came out fine on both seats. The left rear bolt on the driver's side seat was IMPOSSABLE to turn. I only tried a few times to avoid breaking anything. After crawling underneath the truck, looks like there is a nut on the other end of the bolt. However, there is hardly any space between the frame and the body to get any type of tool up there to loosen the nut. Anyone have any experience with this?

Message: i've got an '02 and had the same problem. but i grew up on a farm and whenever we came across a bolt like that, all we'd do is just get an extender bar and pull that sonofabeeeouch out. luckily i didn't break anything, but i never looked under there to see if there was a bolt. i'm not sure how much different a '99 is from a '02.
