My Alt gauge registers in reverse. When the engine is off, the gauge needle goes to the 18 amp side. When on, it slowly moves right to left and stops at the 14 amp position. I am thinking is has something to do with the Viper alarm system installed. The installers do not know how to correct this, saying its the gauge not the alarm. I removed the gauge cluster and re-installed it and the gauge worked for about two weeks but then returned to the reverse postion.
Can you help me?
