Subject: Raced a Regency Bronzerado!! IP: Logged
Message: I was leaving work and this guy in a silver Silverado reg. cab with the Regency package was behind me so I got on the pipes (very loud). As we pulled on to the main road before you get on the interstate I slowed down for him to catch me and have an even start, but instead he floored it and passed me by!! What a dick!! Anyway, I floored it in 2nd, she spun like crazy, I hit 3rd, wound it, and started squeezin right up on his bumper. Then we got on the interstate, and I swung way out left and hammered it, he was 70 ft. ahead of me, and I started pullin up on him as I shifted to 4th, as I started to blow by him, he hit the brakes!!!! When I get my trac-lok in I'm gonna hunt me some Chevy's every chance I get! I was about to waste that guy both times and he gave up.
Chevy drivin mammas boy!!!!!!
I have a 4.7 CC 5 spd, IAT Adjuster/relocated, TPS @ .76, True CAI w/k&n, no muffler. Yeah, it's fast.

Message: What makes you think he was trying to race you? Perhaps he was just in a hurry and wanted to get home or whatever!! He probably hit the brakes because he didn't want to race. Racing in traffic is stupid. You never know what the other cars around you are going to do. No matter how good a driver you are, you don't know about the other people on the road. If someone is doing something equally as stupid as racing like talking on a cell phone, they could pull into your lane while you're racing and you could both die. If you want to race take your truck to a local drag strip and run other people who you know want to race. Just my .02
