That is one downfall if you take it to court you will more than likely have to pay court costs (whatever they may be in your state). I have also heard of some states charging court cost even though it doesn't go to court. It is possible for the judge to give you a higher fine, but i would say that is isn't likely unless your driving record is poor, or you were just a total knuckle head and failed the officers attitude test. Some judges will ask the officer in court if the Defendant was cooperative. If the reply is "no" then expect to get hammered by the judge, because most judges will not tolerate disrespect to officers. Something to think about!

Message: I know in my case I was cooperative, just want to know what to expect when I go to court in a week and a half...
