Message: That's enough. I'm done with this site. I've continued to give it the benefit of the doubt, but after reading the first few lines of the "Great Idea" thread, and seeing where it was obviously going, I decided it was too much. It's not the webmaster's fault, or the site layout, it's the infantile, evil minds that seem to have taken it over. It can't be a gathering of just plain old "truck guys", getting together to treat each other with some respect, and perhaps learn something in the process. No, it has to be a bunch of pablum puking, immature halfwits, looking for a place to express themselves. Well, have at it. My best regards to the few remaining MEN and WOMEN on this site who possess common courtesy and etiquette, and who know what I'm referring to.

Message: Well, that's just the kind of response that Pistolero was talking about. You just reinforced his argument. There are actually quite a few people on this site that care if a decent person leaves. BTW, Pistolero, if you're still there check out dakotatrucks.com and dakotausa.com. You get all the technical help you need and avoid all the B.S. I know exactly what is going to happen every time I come on here, so it doesn't bother me that much. It gives me a good laugh. Just think of it as watching Jerry Springer.

Message: I agree with Pistolero, I am a 46 year old who happens to visit this forum to check out what others have to say about their dakota's. The immature responses are the kind I expect from my ten year old. I have noticed Meximelt, seems to be really good at these "mature" responses.
Why dont you show some respect to your fellow Dakota owners.

Message: I think the point many people miss is that it's easy enough to ignore the ignorance and flame wars and not become involved. That's a personal choice we all make. We all choose to read a thread, we all choose to respond, we all choose to... It's personal choice. It's not as though your computer screams the words at you and you have no choice but to listen.
Where I take issue is when people presume to believe that it's OK for them to tell everyone else in the world that we all have to behave in a certain way or that they're offended by certain things. Who gives a shlt? If you find certain things offensive, don't look at them. That's your personal choice. When one takes it upon one's self to try and sway the behavior of others or to try to police the internet, one may end up disappointed.
I can ignore the retarded 8 year olds who don't even drive and the flamers who have nothing to add because they're just plain stupid. I can't take people like Pisolero making a big show out of his exit from the board and blaming others for his failure to behave in a mature and adult fashion and ignore the fools he finds offensive. That's 10 year old behavior. "...look at me, I'm doing something special, everybody pay attention to me..." GoodBye already and enjoy your life.
These do gooder threads are pointless and a waste of space and should be under the heading of "I'm a wuss so I'm leaving."

Message: The problem is the threads where someone asks a honest question and gets hammered by some halfwit trying to get a rise out him. It's rediculous.
There should be a maturity test you have to pass before you can post. Grow up.

Message: Yea, I hardly ever come to this site anymore. Its not worth it. Most of the threads end up as a flame war. This site is nothing like what it was even a year ago. I've tried to give it a chance, but I give up. Good luck to all those that are still trying to keep this site alive.

It's not a do gooder thread it's called common courtesy. What if you joined a club, any kind of club that you are interested in. As a new member, you wouldn't know much about how it operated. Every time you asked a question at a meeting, they dropped f bombs on you, called you a dumbass, laughed at you and called you names. You
probably wouldn't want to stay a member for long would you. I know I wouldn't. Well, if it's not OK to do face to face, why should it be OK just because we can't see each other. The answer is it's not. We do have freedom of speech, but that doesn't give you the right to say anything you want. Try yelling fire in a theater, or say bomb to security in the airport and you'll understand what I mean. You shouldn't say anything on the internet that you wouldn't say to someone's face. Anyway, there still are good people here and new people who have honest questions and that's why I come back occasionally, but I choose to spend most of my time elsewhere because of all the trolls.
