Hey Guys
A few of you have asked in the past to see pics of the air box setup. I finally got it all installed. Check it out. Its not completely done but more or less its good enough for now.

Go here: http://www.geocities.com/tim.hollister@snet.net/index1.html?1052965270680

For some reason I an unable to open and add to my current web page so this will have to do for now.

That intake looks great. That's better than a
sucking air threw a straw K/N deal. I bet you it
pulls hard with this setup.

Yah It pulls real good. I use 89 octane and since the computer adjusted for the larger amounts of air she goes real good. She chirps second now.

dodgedakotaqc,

Using higher octane fuel actually makes your engine produce less power (unless you have a computer flash), and provides you with worse mileage overall. The difference isn't as big between 87 and 89 as it is with 87 and 93. They have different burn characteristics, and reduce preignition (pinging) by using chemicals to raise the flashpoint. Go back to 87 (until you get the computer flash).

What is the diffrence between the gts and gts 2 hood?
Demon Dakota
Thanks for the advice. I had a tank of 87 and I tried a tank of 89 and she seemed to run better. But maby its just my imagination.
Are there any computer flashes out for the 4.7 that work. I always here people complane about them not being worth it.
