Thanks!

Message: I got one from "Buyers choice" and I am in the process of a claim right now... The warranty is 6 mo 6000 miles & cost $795. The fix/repair so far is up to $1350.
They have an adjuster coming out to make sure they will honer the claim. We will see how that goes soon (this week).
So far they have been fine to deal with.

Message: Lobo, I personally would only go with one from Chrysler. That being said realize the dealers will all offer them at different prices but the fact is they all pay the same amount from Chrysler, which is at least 1/2 of what they try to sell it to you for. I have seen the pricing shts the dealers get for these warranties, so don't let them give you some kind of song & dance that it is not. Good luck

Message: Yup, $795 for 6 months 6000 mile.
I had a 1999 Grand Cherokee that was running out of factory warranty. The dealers quoted me $895-$1200+ for a year or so more just powertrain, and a few more miles.
Neither factory or aftermarket warrantys are cheap on an older vehicle.
Its just a racket.
My $795 on the Dakota was worked into the deal I made at the dealership (tossed it in to make the sale), so I felt good even with the limited coverage.

Message: Buyers choice warranty co. came through.
They paid $1250+ on the total. Very honerable company from what I have seen.
If your interested in contacting them I can give you further information.

Message: I have been looking into buying from WarrantyGold for my 1999 Avenger and possibly a wrap policy for the Dak. Their prices are very reasonable (1/2 of DC's) and the coverage extends from the date you buy, not the in-service date. The reviews on the website are glowing, of course. Anyone actually deal with them before?

Message: I have Warranty Gold and am VERY happy with it. It has paid for itself with the couple of things that have failed/worn out on my Dak (ball joints, water pump). Yes, I said worn out - you don't have to wait for part failure to get a claim. Their service has been good. I simply have the shop (or me) call in the claim, fax the work order, and BAM! it's done. Sweet! Next week, I'm having my truck checked for alleged shot A-Arm bushings, which are also covered.
Nice thing about having a warranty extension/service contract - it makes it a lot easier to keep you vehicle in top shape; you don't have to wait for funds to make critical repairs, and that will help everyone live longer.
Definitely worth every penny!.
