Who ownes the silver Python RT on page 5 top right hand corner in viewers rides? I was wondering what brand the hood is because that is exactly the one I have been looking for.

thats my dakota.I have no idea where the
hood came from. I got it from the dealer. I love
that freakin hood!!!!!!!!!

Is that hood functional? It looks like the new kind from Lund that stick on. It still looks awesome though. You have the truck I plan on purchashing soon.
If the hood isn't functional, don't feel bad. The ones on the new Mustang's aren't either. I know, I have one.

Kraw if the hood I have found (with a friends help) is the same brand, it can be ordered functional or non-functional. Let me be sure and I'll post the address.

What is a Python R/T???? I checked out the pictuer, and I was told when I was ordering my 2001 Quad Cab that there was no QC R/T's? It looks like a 4x4 too, I though all R/T's were 4x2.....

It's not a "true" R/T ... the Python package is something a dealership came up with. Cool hood, exhaust, maybe a chip upgrade (not sure bout the chip). But, you're right ... R/T's are not available in a quad cab ... from Daimlyer/Chrysler.

To answer everyones questions it is a
functioanl hood. It 's a hollow fiberglass hood
with a hole underneath where the intake
mates up against. The package is from a
dealer and it included the hood, upgraded
pcm, custom intake, dual flowmaster exaust
and, I almost forgot a shity paint job. I love the
truck hate the paint job it came with. The
decals are from the dealer.

Kraw, I have already been scoping that one out and I am pretty sure it is it. The thing I was loking for id to be able to put the Dodge emblem back on it. The on on the Python has it but I cant tell from the picture on the website if the spot is there or not. I'm almost positive that it is the same hood. Man it looks sweet. And the fact that it is functional is awesome. Daks should come from the factory with them.

The Dodge embelem is on the hood. I went to
the website that kraw said, and I dont think its
the same hood as mine. Its still a cool hood
regardless.
