Actually, the H.O. Cummins diesel makes more power and more importantly, more torque.
You bought a Ford...enjoy the first few weeks because that's all they're good for.

The cummins is a rock solid motor. But Take it from a guy that has driven both, the for d gets the nod. Ive been driving a Power Stroke full time for the last few years. Trust me that thing is a hoss.
Not to knock Dodge its a true hauler. But the Power Stroke just feels like a hotrod. As far as which has the most power, look it up its the ford.
As soon as Chevy advertised thier headgasket blowing duramax as the power leader, ford ramped up the new monster of tow:-the 32-valve, 6.0-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel. It pumps out 560 pound-feet of torque at 2,000rpm and 325 horsepower at 3,300rpm.
I luv ya Dodge but Power Stroke owns.

ford has a little more power... but if you look at the RPM at which it has it's power, the Cummins is a real diesel. the Ford is a higher rever, and is faster in the 1/4, but usually low end power is what most are after when they're buying a diesel.
And as for you 6.0 PSD, you are on the wrong site... this is a Dakota site, these trucks are in comparison with the ranger, trail blazer and s-10.. if you want power buy a freightliner... I mean you're not comparing apples to apples here

Ford Sucks. HO Cummins dynoed 488 Lbs-Ft at the wheels, that's 575 at the crank. HO 6 speed will be my next truck. Sport package with all body color grill is bad a$$.
