Message: Good Call On the dak. Don't pay 40,000 for a
brick on wheels. A dakota vs. a ss silverado is
like a F-16 vs. a dumptruck

Message: Go pick up the July Sport Truck. They only got a 15.7 @ 86MPH. I got my R/T for half the price and got a 14.87 @ 93.6MPH. I really hope they build the RC 6-speed version, I'm not a chevy fan and won't buy one but, that would be a really nice truck.

Message: Dude, I hope you're doing alot better than 14.87 with a blown R/T because my itty bitty 318 runs faster than that. Just out of curiosity what do you think of the powerdyne and what kind of times do you run with it?
Thanks

Message: That 14.87 was bone stock with 5000 miles on the odo. I love the Powerdyne, I haven't had one problem from the blower. The bellypan gasket on the stock intake blew out about a day after it went in and I had a hell of a time diagnosing that problem. It has run a 13.9 @ 102 but that was with the blown bellypan and a horrid 2.4 60'. After I replaced the intake I got shorter tires about 26" tall. It ran a 14.0 @ 99 w/2.2 60' and shutting down at the traps due to rev. limiter (and I wasn't about to let it shift into OD). I haven't been to the track with the Mopar PCM but it should be much better now that I can stay in it all the way .
