Subject: Blowing reverse light fuses? IP: Logged
Message: I already looked in the archives but didn't come up with an answer. I have an 01 quadcab that blows the reverse light fuses when I tow my boat. I tried running a ground from the trailer to the truck to make sure it is always grounded but it still does it. I have no problems with the fuses when not towing, has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Message: If it's an aftermarket plug in adapter with the
flat 4 connector the ground wire (bare pin) on the flat 4 (truck side) needs to be clipped
near where it plugs into your standard wiring and then grounded to the frame of the truck.
