Subject: Blowing reverse light fuses?
IP: Logged

Message:
I already looked in the archives but didn't come up with an answer. I have an 01 quadcab that blows the reverse light fuses when I tow my boat. I tried running a ground from the trailer to the truck to make sure it is always grounded but it still does it. I have no problems with the fuses when not towing, has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

OPINIONS ARE LIKE....WELL, YOU KNOW THE REST!!

If it's an aftermarket plug in adapter with the
flat 4 connector the ground wire (bare pin) on the flat 4 (truck side) needs to be clipped
near where it plugs into your standard wiring and then grounded to the frame of the truck.
