Can someone tell me how to safely remove the vents in the dash?? I would like to get them painted. I have a '00 cc.

I have just started painting mine. I am painting them silver. Anyways, If you use a little force to bend them away from the parts that allow them to swivel. It feels as though you are gonna break them but don't worry you won't.

I know on a ford pickup you can take like a credit card ( or similiar) and insert it on each side of the vent then just pull the vent out, it may also work on the dakota
