Subject: Salt Stains IP: Logged
Message: This is for people in the salt belt. I have some huge salt stains on my carpet. Today I lifted the edge by the drivers door and I have crystalized salt under the carper and the groundstrap bolt near the CTM is green. Yikes. First I want to get all the salt out of there before my floorboards rust out and second I want to save my carpet.
Is there a quick easy way or do I have to remove all the seats and the console and vacuum the floor and wash the carpet? It looks like an elephant blew it's load on my floor.
I hate winter for so many reasons and this is just another one.

Good luck

Message: I live in MI, and this happened to me over the winter, but mostly on my floormats. I just used Resolve carpet cleaner, some soapy water, and some elbow grease. I can't even tell they were there.
Hope this helps
Derek
