Help me, help me. Can anyone please tell me exactly what size the front spindle nut is on a '97 Dak, 2WD, no front ABS? Can you also confirm the size allen wrench I need to remove the caliper pins? - 7mm?? Will I need anything else?!?!

I just bought this truck on Monday, (finally wore out my trusty '91), knowing that it needed RF wheel bearings. No problem - $30 - $40 and I'm set, WRONG! So didn't get the $158 hub assembly until today on my lunch hour. Dealer didn't stock the $12 spindle nuts so I figured I could use the old one until I got one at another dealer on tomorrows lunch hour. (Don't you have to change these because they have the nylon lock on them INSTEAD OF A PROPER COTTER PIN!) Problem is that where I live the only place open in the evening when I can work on it, that has a reasonable supply of tools, is Wally World. Had to buy a set of 1/2" drive metric sockets to get the one I thought would work, AND DIDN'T, and a set of metric allen wrenches - (I had a '91 before, right?) - Of course the set I bought went from 6mm to 8mm and a 1/4 inch wrench "bit" but not good enough unless I really wanted to "F" things up, so I couldn't get the job done tonight and want to pick up the right tools for the job on lunch hour tomorrow. I had a bearing break on my old Dak and never want to live (or die) through that again! ESPECIALLY WITHOUT A COTTER PIN ON THE NUT!

I really appreciate you all reading my "sob" story and thanks in advance for any help you can give me. I have many more questions and will post at a later time. It's 2:30am and I can't hardly think straight right now. First thing is this wheel bearing!
