No complaints whatsoever here. I just hate that off idle stumble with the 4.7. I don't know what that is. I changed the tps to .76 v already and it seemed to help for a while. 3 months later , today I started it up and it would kinda bog when I floored it to rev it while it was cold. After revving a couple (6) times, the stumble went away. What the heck is that? My K&N has about 6k miles on the last cleaning.

Tyler I always call them as I see them. Alot of people think that I am un-American but nothing could be farther from the truth. I do not belive in lieing to make about things to make myself or others feel better about problems. I have always thought that only when all problems are admitted can you truley set out to fix them. I can remember a time when most hings American even electronics were the gold stnadard that all other products were meassured against and would love nothing better then to see Ford and Chevy beat Toyota at the quality and durability game long term. I doubt that I will live long enough to see that happen and I am only 30 years old. Untill then you really have to try out the competition and watch what they are doing and try to constantly improve your product's quality, durability and production costs. Until American company's make a total comitment to quality and durability and break away from marketing and share holders driveing their products it will never happen.

IF I let go of my '01 QC, I'll end up with a 2500 Ram QC long bed Cummins HO Laramie 4x4. No GM for me since my only "new" GM in '95, an S-10, was in the dealer every month. I still swear by Oldsmobile (RIP) in the muscle car dept tho ;)

Mr H. - I've heard that relocating the IAT will take care of your stumbling problem on the 4.7. Just use the search to find the posts on it.

That's already done, with a true CAI, modded TPS, no muffler behind the 3rd freakin cat.
It all seemed to help a good bit, but that may be due to old oil or low oil pressure too. The mobil 1 in the crank-case had 6200 miles on it before I changed it! OUCH

6200 miles on Mobil1 is nothing and why would you "floor" a cold engine? Do you enjoy doing rings and bearings every 50,000 miles?

I don't floor it, just revved a little to bring er up to op temp.

Maybe like 3500 rpms or so. That shouldn't hurt it.

Maybe the stumble is from running it cold too long though. I'll do a compression check to make sure. It only has 33,000 miles on it, and when it's warmed up it freakin rips.

I just ate another s-10's lunch last night, if it hadn't been for wheelspin, I'da really killed em.
