Guys,
I'm a newbie to this site so please forgive this (beat to death) question. I have a 98 5.2 4X4 Dakota extended cab. I want to go with Edelbrock tubular headers/y-pipe and was looking at ditching the cat. I know I have at least two O2 sensors (1 in front and 1 behind). I have a 3" tail pipe and a muffler that has a 2.5" inlet. What is the exit diameter of the y-pipe? Can a test pipe be made to work without using o2 sims? Anyone who has done this without tripping codes please let me know.
