Subject: Sticky windows IP: Logged
Message: No it's not the name of a new Stones album. Anyway, my drivers side window is really starting to piss me off. I don't think the motor is going, but the window is a real pain in the arse to get down & up again. It's almost like it's catching or sticking on something. Is this a common problem? It's a 2000 Dakota if that matters.

Message: Same thing happened to me....took it in and had it looked at, the dealer said it was "adjusted". About 2 months later it was slow again...bought some silicon spray, helps a bunch.

Message: That is the ticket, use a silicone spray or a whilte lithium grease. Works like a charm. My 88 did that, sprayed it and it was still good 5 years later when I sold it. And I only sprayed it on the back track for the window (lowered the windoow and sorayed it in a bit, window up down couple times, repeat)...
