 Subject: 03 Manual V8 Trans Dipstick?

03 Manual Dak V8
Could not find tranny dipstick. Even though the manual
says I have one. There should at least be a plug to fill
up the trans fluid. Can anyone describe where its at?

There is only a plug on the side of the tranny. Its on the passenger side of the tranny. You have a plug in the bottom to drain it and the one in the side to fill it. Fluid should be up to the hole. I is a stupid plug too, I think a head from a 17mm bolt fits it if you want to make a socket for it. My buddy had a home made socket so I don't remember the exact size.

The manual, says the manual, has a dipstick?
I've been called alot worse, over on the Performance board right now!
Maybe the manual meant the auto had the dipstick.
I think I'll have to agree with Glen there.

Amazing how the maturiy level in these forums drop to
that of a 1st grade level. A simple question gets a stupid
