Subject: Alignment? possible? 2-3 R/T drop

Alright guys I tried this before but no real answer! I need an alignment bad! I have 2 inch western chassis drop control arms and R/T springs in the front and 3 3/4 inch Hotchkis leafs in the back! I was told by a guy at a local shop that once I lowered my truck that it could no longer be aligned! Is this true because I always see people writing on here they have gotten alignments with the same drop but most of the posts were kinda old so i didnt bother replying! Thanks

lets put it this way, if i can align mine, you can definatly align yours. A normal alignment shop won't touch my truck with a ten foot cresant wrench, you my need to find a shop that installs and aligns drop kits specifically. Hope this helps

I just put 2" drop springs on my 4.7 Dak CC. It's a heavy front end and it also has that wierd off caster/camber inward-tire lean. The lean is great for handling and all, but the tires want to eat off on the insides. Is there any hope??
Maybe a control arm that corrects this or SOMETHING??
I wanted to go with a drop spindle but most advised otherwise for some undisclosed reason.

Now I wish I had gone with a drop spindle $140 later......

The factory springs were weak however, and I would like to figure out some sort of SUPER stout spring setup for it. Any recommendations?

I think a full size spring will fit. Maybe it's possible to cut a full size 4X4 spring to get the factory height and put a drop spindle to have the right a-arm rake and position as to retain the factory handling and steering characteristics.

I'll check the dropped dakota boards but any input would be nice.
