Anyone know where I can get a 180-deg Tstat for the 4.7L engine? None of the auto parts store carry ANYTHING for the 4.7L Dakotas.

You can get them at Autozone. Robertshaw brand I think.

If you would have looked in the archives, you know, do a search, you would find that you can't ask them for a 180 for a 4.7!

Robert Shaw GT755-180, you can find it in the aisles at Autozone.
Use the same gasket!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already did, but wanted to purchase a Robert Shaw Tstat locally. Greater Phoenix Autozone, Checkers, and Pep Boys do not carry Robert Shaws...only the Stants. Of course I didn't call EVERY single location, but the ones I did call do not carry anything but Stant.

My local Autozone carries them so you should be able to get yours to order you one in. Just tell them you want the Robertshaw GT755-180. If they ask you what it is for tell them it is none of their da@n business and just get one in. Some of the Autozones carry them, usually in the aisle, not in the back, so you know they can get one in for you.
