man, anyone ever give you guys a hard time about fixin up your truck? I mean for me it just strikes a nerve when I hear something about wasting money on my truck
I'm only 20 and live w/ parents still and they're my biggest. they think it's rediculous to fix up my truck. I just wanna get it lowered , something as simple as that.
anyone else get this at all?
i hope i'm not the only one
i just want my truck to be unique in a sense

same here, im 21.
they think that putting a cold air intake and exhaust on is stupid. hey, it actually gives me better gas milage on my 03 RT.
thye freaked out the most about my bike. i dumped about $1500+ more into it. they told me i was stupid.
I DONT CARE!!!! IM YOUNG AND IM GOING TO HAVE MY TOYS!!!!!

I get the same thing from my dad. So i moved out so that i didnt have to hear it, and he still tells me it is a waste and that i should just spend my money on something that will be around forever. Just go on about your business and send some pics of your truck. I am 19.

my dad uses his favorite quote on me all the time..."if it aint broke, dont fix it" every time he says this i just want to smack him. he bought the truck for himself and then i tunred 16 and kinda stole it, ive had to fight tooth and nail for every mod which ive paid for just needed permision to do. i get good grades so i get my mom on my side a lot of the time and after fighting i always win. so the other day he tells me after i lowered it that absolutely no more mods i am done for sure and i have to start saving for college spending money. as soon as he left i started laughing cause he says this every time, and look at the pics of my truck and tell me who wins most of the arguments, if he had his way it would be completely stock, lol
im 18 now btw and next year when out of the house i plan on bagging my truck, cant wait to drive home one weekend and see the look on his face when he sees what ive done to it, lol

My dad thinks its cool that I mod my truck. He used too race in SCCA when he was my age. But then again i'm 25, on my own, and spend my money how I like. My girlfriend gives me $hit sometimes but then she goes and puts $500+ worth of stereo equipment in her car. Whe I bring that up she shuts up.

My daughters grew up watching me modify our Mopars. I've helped them and advised them on what to do with their Neon and Civic. It's a sign of maturity when you can make wise, educated decisions (not impulse) on how to spend your hard-earned bucks. I'm assuming you pay for most of the mods yourself, and are gainfully employed. If you've done the research, but happy with your decision, because ultimately your satisfaction will be based on what you know is right.

LMAO man I know the feeling. My girlfriend is always like why spend the money making your truck faster when there is only a certain speed limit. I just tell her baby it's a guy thing, then make her watch home improvement with me, then take her to my dad's where I get compliments for my work and a full sized bay to work in !!!

I am 18 and get ripped on from everybody even the people at my school. All i want to do is make it go faster and drop a 440 into it but because of the area i live in (GM territory) I get ripped on but if it was an S-10 i wouldnt get ripped on. Its Mopar or No car for me.
