Subject: Do Moog ball joint lower have zerks? IP: Logged
Message: I just received Moog lower ball joints (also the uppers) and I am about to install them but I noticed they do not have a zerk fitting, or a place to mount one. Is this the case for all of you guys that have already installed them? My Dakota is 4wd, 5.2, 5speed, club cab, power steering, Moog lower part number is K-7267, upper is K-7242 (from their web site). Uppers had zerk fittings, lowers did not, is this right? I thought everyone was saying the lowers had zerks to? HELP!!!

Message: Okay I'm a bonehead... I was freaking out because I expected the balljoints to have the zerks on them. I didn't realize they are actually on the control arm and not on the ball joint itself. After going over it I found a miniscule hole where the grease is injected... SORRY for the alarm!!!
