What frame does the Durango use? The same as a standard cab dakota or different one?

The dakota frame (club cab or quad cab) looks beefy, not sure about the durango..

Thanks

The Durango uses a Durango frame and the Dakota uses a Dakota frame. The two are absolutely different.

Not completely. From the B pillar forward, they are the same. The difference comes in the length behind it:

112" for RC Dak
116" for Durango
131" for CC/QC Dak

Ah, that's nice to know.

Also, is the frame(s) the same throughout the years on dakotas/durangos? I've just seen the 2003 (or 4??) at the dealer (dakota CC) and it was beefy.. is that the latest one or are they all the same? I don't have access to a dakota to look under it..

Thanks
