Agree!!! Every time Mobil 1 increases it's price they lose one of the only benefits they have over oils like Amsoil and Redline.
For all you die hard Mobil 1 users, I have to ask this question. If all of these three oils were priced the same, and were sold in the same store, would you still use Mobil 1? I think the main reason so many people use it over other top quality synthetics is because of it's price and it's availability.

ExxonMobil announced increases to its U.S. base oil postings Monday, triggering the second round of price hikes in the market in six weeks.
I am also paying $2.75 for Exxon gas in SF.

Well, Exxon/Mobil reported today $21 Billion in profits.
Those profits and they are still charging us more
for our gasoline and our oil.

just picked up a 5QUART jug of synthetic oil at walmart in Ct. 11.99$ dont know who packaged it for them it is available in 5-30 and 10-30 says on the label it meets specs and is compatible with regular oil the truck is due for an oil change so ill give it a try

Walmart is the Devil. I'll pay a little more at Discount Auto for my Mobil1 just so I can avoid giving any profit to Walmart.
