Subject: 2003 4x4 Roadmaster easy question IP: Logged
Message: I looked at the instructions quickly. I have 2 questions:
1. Front half or back half of springs?
2. Will tehse get rid of the spring unloading when i shift or will I have to put on my spring clamps as well?
Thanks,
Chris

Message: Back half - They pretension the springs a bit, not sure if you'll want extra clamps or not. I'm happy with them on my 2K RC 4x4 without any more clamps but haven't tried adding any.

Message: I don't have a 4x4, but I like mine how they are.
Look ma, no wheel hop :)
And my truck doesn't sag all winter when it has 350 pounds of dirt in the back.

Message: Well I got them on yesterday, read through the instructions about 5 times and started to catch the hints I needed for answers. They seem to help the unloading of the suspension during shifting a bit. It is raining here today so I cannot fully check it until it stops raining. I do notice it rides a bit more harsh and did lift the back of the truck about an inch.
So now my question is what is the factory height range for an '03 4wd CC? I am thinking of cranking the torsions to get it back into proportion.
