 Subject: Cant Remove Lower Joint

Hi Guys need some help I have a 99 Sport 4 x 4 with 50k on it. Started to change the ball joints today the top I didnt have a problem air chisel and drill and I was good to go. The bottom ones are out of control !!! Damn things have way to much press on them if you ask me. Any help would be appreciated

The only way to do it is with a ball joint press. Use it for free at Autozone with $100 deposit.

A blue wrench will help a lot!
Ya know, propane torch. Heat it a bit and pop 'em off, nice and easy.

My boss said it took him 3 hours per side with heat and a 5lb sledge to get them out of his daughters 98... Good luck man...
