iffen yer stikin them thar spring dohickeys inna Dak it shor as all getout will matter! older ones are a bit shoter then newer ones and the spring rate, due to changes in the trucks, mostly they got heavier thru da years gets greater, then tha newest ones even have difrent springs and spring rates in em due ta da fact that difrent load ranges and such was available like doncha know?
