 Subject: Shopping for a Used Dakota

I am currently looking for a used Dakota 4x4 and I want one with 3.92 gears and a Limited Slip Diff. My question is how do i determine if it has the LSD and 3.92 gears? I know there should be a tag on the rear diff thats says what gears it has, but are there any other ways, and also how do i find out if it has a LSD without trying to spin the tires on a test drive? Some of these dealers have no idea when I ask them if it has a LSD and what gears are in it. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, does the glove box sticker list if it has a limited slip rear also or just what gears it has. Is this the only place to find this information.

I'll bet you've been told that the v6 gets better MPG! They'll tell you that to unload those POS's.
Then, you'll be back on here b&tching about how bad the MPG is!

Actually I am looking for a 2001+ CC 4.7L 4x4 Auto with 3.92 and LSD. Whether it is from a dealer or private party I don't care, I just want to know how to look for these options before i buy. Thanks
