Subject: Trans Slipping IP: Logged
Message: Alright anyone else have this problem, i have an 02 CC RT, and the other night i was driving and when at WOT it was like the trans wouldnt shift, i dont know if it was cause i was hitting the rev limiter, but it would start fine but then goto like 5400 rpms and not shift but i could hear it trying to. any idea what it could be? I have a CAI and and M1 on it right now. I have some rockers but i didnt put them on yet. I really need a PCM flash too, anyone got any idea which is the best? I Live in MI so the BG one might be good if i can just walk in and wait for it.
Thanks.

Message: its the stupid governor pressure solenoid in the transmission. my truck does the same thing and i brought it to 2 different dealership telling them what the problem is and they BOTH just adjusted my throttle valve cable to try and cover up the problem and now my truck reacts worse. with the problems youll get from the dealership you should just do it yourself, thats what im gonna do when i replace my valve body to a custom one from APS Precision.
