Hey guys/girls I have a 96 cc 4x4 with 136k on it with the automatic trans. After a good service life my trans feels like it is starting to go. My question is this has anyone ever swaped an auto for a stick in these trucks? If so would you do it again. I would love to make this truck a stick shift, but if i have to take it out of service for a month or so it is just not worth it. If that is the case i will just rebuild the awfulmatic and put it back in. Any advice would be helpful.
