Subject: Tranny question, help! IP: Logged
Message: I suffer from the "no shift to second when punched" syndrome. I have researched trying to find the cause and have not found a definative answer yet. I have heard everything from the pressure sensor, to the valvebody, to the overdrive solenoid. Has anyone actually had this problem fixed, and if so, what was it?

Message: I'm still battling that one myself. It's been a year now... I have replaced all the sensors in the transmission save the speed sensor. Tomorrow I'm replacing the TPS. If it fixes it I will post everywhere. The problem is way to common and nobody seems to have a definitive answer.
Good luck and may the Mopar gods be with you.
Powerdyne 6#, MP Headers, Transgo shit kit, MSD/BTM ignition, MAP tweak, relocated IAT, MP PCM, "409" taylor plug wires, Keith Black Pistons, 5140 I-beam rods, polished head bowls. MONEY PIT!!

Message: I just spent the last 2 hours adjusting and readjusting the TV cable. It is far more sensitive than I thought. You do not need to change the setting very far to make a large difference. This may be where my problem lies in that I may have adjusted it too far back. It seems to be shifting pretty good right now, but very early to say for sure. Please let me know what you find and I will keep you posted from my end.
