Has anyone with a 2003 R/T got the open recall on the Tansmission lines. Taking mine in monday for line replacement. They say they blow out. This is only on the R/T model Dakota.

I hav'nt heard anything about it but I do notice a difference in my 01 and 03 tranny.The 03 seems like it is slipping between 1st and 2nd, just does'nt seem right.?

the Recall you are refering to is a " Diamler Chrysler Rapid Response Recall for a torque Convertor Drainback Valve." And it is no only for the R/T's, it also pertains to the 03 Cummins Rams and i think a few others.

The Dealer called me. Because the DC rep came to the dealership and he told them they had one of these trucks to fix. I have the only one bought through this dealership. It was the torque coverter drainback valve and line. Got it back in 6 hours.

a tie rod end came out of its socket on the rd i only have 62360 miles on it.
