 Subject: How do you change front diff fluid????

When trying to remove the front differential cover on a 2001QC, 4.7L, 5-Sp; will it fit around all the steering components, or do you have to remove something for the cover to clear?

The steel vent tube will be a tight fit when you start to pull it out.....going back in I tweak the tube to where it is closer to the cover and turn the cover about 45 degrees clock wise and slip the tube past the rack being careful not to get the sealant on the ring gear....helps to take the splash shield off, makes getting at the top three bolts easier.....just be careful and keep things clean as possible.
