You really need to keep your composure when going to the fire station and then to the scene. If you cause a wreck, then you only become part of the problem. Also, there are legal liabilities if you injure or kill someone! Even in the emergency vehicles you can't 'blow through' a light or stop sign. Most slow to a crawl to make sure that the intersections are clear before proceding.
