remove headliner from vehicle, remove fabric completely from headliner, completely remove all residual glue from headliner and fabric, spray headliner and fabric with a contact glue/cement on the sides you want to stick together and allow the glue to dry, then, very carefully position fabric on headliner, do not put the fabric on the headliner while the cement is still wet, as it will not stick if you do. starting from the center and working out, keep in mind that once the glued surfaces have touched, you will not be able to get them apart such as the way contact cement works.
