Subject: SS Speed Grille - Chrome/Brushed? IP: Logged
Message: I need help in making a decision. I am going to purchase a Street Scenes grille, but am torn between the two finishes and would appreciate your help/comments.
I have a 2000 Dak, Patriot Blue with gray bottom trim, SLT - chrome bumper with gray clading, and chrome grille housing.
Chrome or brushed speed grille - what do you think?
THANKS,
MD

Message: I think the chrome would be the way to go, the brushed might seem a little dull and out of place.

Message: Definetly chrome. Darryl's right, with all of the chrome on the front of your truck, the brushed metal would look dull...

Message: Thanks, guys - I was afraid of having too much chrome, but I think you may be right.
D'Arcy - where did you get the intake tube? Who manufactured it. I went to the Mopac site you mention on your website, but could not readily locate the tube.
Thanks,
MD

Message: Yup, homemade. I just got the blue silicone couplers at Mopac, the pipe is just 3" mandrel bent aluminum.
