yeah so my SE-R auto can run like a 15.9 0-60 7.6(gtech). so what daks can I take out with that??
ill probably get an R/T some years down the road. I miss the burnouts...lol
most of the names on the board are different now. wonder if anyone will be left if i ever get a dak again. oh yeah one more thing. those 4x4 logos on the side of the bed are so nasty...take them off!!! please...they ruin the whole look of the truck.

i was racing a qc 4x4 on the highway. couldnt hang at all and it was definatly a V8 cuz there is no way a 6 would have stood any chance.

I just read somewhere that the 1992 short bed, regular 3.9L with manual tranny ran 14.9 stock. Sure you hope you don't run into any of those with your Se-R.

I think he is mistaking those numbers for the V8. They were known to run high 14's stock.

Actually I have the same 1992 that they mentioned except mines got over 220k miles. Still runs strong and in excellent condition, so I have first hand experience with the quickness of the truck stock. And I thought the Se-R's were supposed to be fast? 15.9 is hardly fast when you compare them to the first generation Neon ACR's that ran the same. So you car is about as fast as a Neon, well an older Neon, SRT will destroy you. Must people take a step up to go faster, except you, you go backwards. Why?

its an auto. the spec v runs a 15.1 for 17,000
you cant get anything that fast for the price. the srt-4 is obviously great speed for the money, but it was too much and it wasnt out yet. its an NA 4cyl, they arent many NA 4 cyls faster then the spec v. just the rsx type s i think

hey Ll Blackdakk I used to own an 88 dakota with a 6 in it and the only mod I had on it before I wrecked it was a preformance exhaust and to put it mildly I ran out of places to put all of those marks for all the ricers I beat with that truck
And I have to agree with you on that 91 318 DakotaFreak, that 8 isnt the strongest, but she holds sooo much potential. BTW still working on finding out about that intake setup for that engine

Integra GSRs are N/A 4 bangers and are quicker than ur SE-R... Neon R/Ts are faster than ur SE-R.... Celica`s are faster than ur SE-R... Honda Civic Si is as fast as ur SE-R.... If i were u, i would have saved that 17 grand and bought a used 97,98 or 99 Eclipse GST or GSX and u would have had an extra 2 to 6 grand (depending on year u got) to play with for mods.

should have gotten a spec. but my car still handles great. but it makes me also realize that the dakota didnt handle all that bad either. not even close to this car, but very respectable for a bigass truck
