Subject: cat replacement ...... IP: Logged
Message: Just curios as to how long it took other people when their cat was replaced? i had mine done yesterday at the 5 star dealer(under warranty) and it took 2 1/4 hours, holy hell, i mean this should have taken an hour tops, all you need to do is pull 2 o2 sensors, undo 2 clamps, and the damn thing comes out, then slap new assembly in, 2 new clamps, put o2 sesors back in, boom, bang done.......am i the only one who thinks that this should have taken no where near as long as it did? by the way this was on a 97 cc 5.2 all stock, and done at shively motors in chambersburg,Pa........

Message: They may have welded it. Mine was welded in. Took a little longer. Same thing with my muffler. Cheap to have done though.
