So what's everyone's thoughts on the stampede ground effects package now standard on the R/T and available on the sport models etc.
Do you like the cleaner less decal look?
Do you think it makes the truck look a little too much like a ricer?
Or do you love the look and think it adds to an already great looking street truck?

I don't like the less decal look. I'm proud of what I drive and I want people to know what it is. I do like the ground effects though and it makes the truck look sharp.

I think the air dam looks terrific. The side skirts are ok, little too Trans-Am retro. The rear tail pieces look awkward, however.

i have had my 2003 RT with the package for 5 weeks now. i love it. its looks great. i have had a TON of jealous dak owners compliment it

I think with a roll pan it might look cool but otherwise it looks a little odd...IMHO

Looks like Pontiac thought up the design.... Can never have enough plastic glued to the vehicle.

KovZR6 i'd love to do that exhaust when I get mine, but the price is just to steep.
When I got a quote OUCH!
But I also love the stampede package its just right as the pieces are fairly small in overall size. I have seen the stampede package on the Sport model but not on the R/T in person.

IMHO less decals are always a great idea.
The only stickers on my Quad are on the
license plate (current year sticker), but to each
his own.
I can take or leave the new ground effect
package. I don't hate it, but wouldn't put it on
my truck. It reminds me of those big "suitcase
handle" wings the kids put on their Civics.... it
just tries too hard.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please...but isn't the Stampede package the only package that also incorporates the flares?

You are correct it is an option on the sport etc...and standard now on the R/T.
