I know this has nothing to do with my dakota, but I was wondering if anyone out there new of the specifactions that make a motorcycle a motorcycle.
in the the state of Maine (where I live) you don't have to have a license to drive a moped, but what about a dual purpose Motorcycle??

In Ohio it had to be under 5cc displacement and also have pedals. If you are referring to a enduro type motorcycle (on/off road) with headlight, tail light then you will probably need a motorcycle endorsement. Call your local Burea of Motor vehicles for specifics.
