hi all-
im a student at the university of florida, and have had a fun project for the past months. im a hot rodder, so when the orig 4 banger started to smoke i went ahead and did a 318 swap on it (schumaker mount kit). its got ported heads (been cleaned, decked, 3 angled, new valves, about 20 hours spent porting, etc), edelbrock single plane, edelbrock 600 carb (choke pulled, air door weights drilled, rods changed) or a holley double pumper with simular mods (your choice of the two), electric fuel pump, 204/214 @.050" .420/.442 lift cam, all new rings/bearings, std bore honed, flowmaster duals. all the other normal stuff for a block up rebuild like timing chain, oil pump, distributor, etc, etc. also has new alternator, voltage reg., waterpump, hd radiator, electric fans, coil, wires, starter, flywheel, clutch, t/o bearing, pads, tires, yada, yada. yes it has a 5 sp behind it, matched it up to the 318. tore the tranny down and it looks perfect inside. mobil 1 through out. gauges to monitor vitals (cant trust the idiot lights with this sweet motor) pulls hard. alot of lifetime warranty parts (i work at autozone). also have the 'crystal' style headlights. body is very straight, no rust at all. interior is clean, but has some minor wear in spots (it is 15 years old). sony cd player and pioneer speakers. factory paint is flaking, like almost all first gen daks have. less than 1000 miles on the new drive line. does have a small timing cover leak, but will help fix. other than that, everything else is tight, drives straight and true. sounds great. rice killer :) please let me know and make me an offer. its about to be tuition time yet again and i cant have 2 vehicles :( my loss is your gain! thanks guys and gals
